Studio Time

From the very first application of pastel to paper I have recorded the process to not only document the entire project but so that there wasn't just static images of my project. â€‹

It's not often an audience can watch art become what is presented to them. Many times art is hung on walls, showcased on pedestals, or placed in a space where the final product can be viewed. This project is my largest to date, surely won't be the largest I take on, and the opportunity to have my process documented was too tantalizing. All the frustration, all the high fixation, all the moments of when I start and finish any project of mine is captured in these time-lapses. Though they move quickly, there are times where my emotions and thoughts are captured and obvious to see. My mirror wall at home was my studio for this project, where I had all my supplies, my music, and my phone to record the time-lapses.

In these videos I would like to welcome the world in to see who I am in the studio.
